After the event, log in and select the people you liked. When they selected you too, you both receive each other’s contact details. Nobody else does.

Is it awkward if I come on my own?
Most people do. The format handles the introductions for you: your host greets you, seats you and starts the round, and you’re already talking. Bring a friend if you’d like the company, but you don’t need one.
Who sees my selections?
Nobody but you, unless it’s mutual. Afterwards you log in and pick the people you’d like to see again. Contact details are shared only when both of you said yes, and no one is told who didn’t pick them.
How many people will I meet?
About ten, for around five minutes each, all within one evening. Every event is grouped by age range, so the room is people at a similar stage of life. Online events run on Zoom, with the passcode emailed to you after you sign up.
What should I wear?
Whatever you’d wear to a nice bar in Hyde Park or on the Riverwalk. Smart-casual is the safe read; no jacket required.
