A natural fit for a good local room.

Speed Date Tampa has hosted in-person speed dating nights across Tampa Bay since 2008. We are always adding rooms to the calendar, and we are looking for welcoming, easy-to-reach rooms to host in — from Downtown and Channelside to Hyde Park, Westshore, Seminole Heights and across the water in St. Petersburg and Clearwater.

Hosting is low-effort on your side. We handle sign-ups, the guest list and the night itself; you provide the space and bar or table service. Guests arrive at a set time, sit at numbered tables for about ten five-minute dates, take a break in the middle, and usually stay on afterwards — new faces on an evening that would otherwise be quiet.

What makes a great venue

We look for rooms that feel comfortable and safe, with space for guests to talk without shouting. Ideal partners tend to have:

• A relaxed lounge, bar or restaurant setting
• Room for about ten to fifteen small tables, or a space that can be set that way for a couple of hours
• An easy-to-reach location — near the Riverwalk or Bayshore, along Kennedy or Dale Mabry, or a short hop over the Howard Frankland or Gandy — with parking or a simple rideshare drop-off
• Friendly staff and a good drinks menu

How it works

Once we connect, we’ll talk through your room, your usual crowd and the nights that suit you. We promote the event, manage every registration, and send a host to run the evening — you simply enjoy the extra business.
