Tampa has been a Latino city for well over a century — Ybor City and West Tampa were built by Cuban and Spanish families — and today the bay is home to Puerto Rican, Colombian, Venezuelan, Mexican, Dominican and Central American communities from Town ’n’ Country to Brandon and Riverview. A Latino speed dating night is where those singles meet each other on purpose, instead of hoping to bump into someone at a family party.

The night runs like every Speed Date Tampa event: our host greets you and seats you at a numbered table, and you have about ten five-minute dates with Latino singles in your age group. Spanish and English are both welcome at the table — talk in whichever comes naturally. Afterwards you log in, choose who you would like to see again, and we share contact details only when the interest is mutual.

Nobody is checking passports. If you identify as Latino or Hispanic and want to meet someone who understands the culture, the food, the music and the family group chat, this is your room.
